FIELD VISIT ORGANIZED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FORENSIC MEDICINE & TOXICOLOGY
On Saturday, 17/1/2026, the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology of C. N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College organized a field visit to the Forensic science Laboratory for second-year BHMS students, accompanied by three faculty members, as a part of the curriculum prescribed by NCH, New Delhi.
The visit was organized with the primary objectives of understanding:
Scientific examination of evidence
To analyze physical, biological, chemical, and digital evidence using validated scientific methods.
Identification of individuals and materials
To identify persons (e.g., through fingerprints, DNA) and materials (weapons, poisons, drugs, documents, etc.).
The entire program was conducted successfully by the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology.
