Field Visit Report – Homoeopathic Pharmacy Department

The Department of Homoeopathic Pharmacy, C.N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College & Research Center, Vyara, organized an educational field visit to Sneh Rashmi Botanical Garden, Surat, on Monday, 05 January 2026, for the students of 1st BHMS (Batch 2024–26). The visit was conducted as a part of the department’s academic activities in accordance with the curriculum prescribed by the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), New Delhi.

The objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to medicinal plants and to enhance their understanding of the botanical sources of homoeopathic medicines. During the visit, students observed a wide variety of medicinal plants, learned about their identification, habitat, and medicinal importance, and correlated their theoretical knowledge with real-life observations.

The field visit proved to be an enriching and interactive learning experience. It helped students develop a deeper appreciation for medicinal flora, encouraged environmental awareness, and strengthened their foundational knowledge in homoeopathic pharmacy. Overall, the visit was successful and highly beneficial for the academic and professional development of the students.
