World Environment Day was celebrated on 5th June 2026 at C. N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College & Research Centre with a tree plantation programme to promote environmental awareness and sustainability. The plantation activity was conducted in the Pharmacy Department Herbarium Garden on the college campus.
A special feature of the programme was the plantation of saplings by Mr. Vijaybhai and Mr. Sachinbhai from the hospital staff, who celebrated their birthdays on the same day. Their participation symbolized a meaningful and eco-friendly way of celebrating the occasion.
The programme aimed to encourage environmental conservation, increase the green cover of the campus, and inspire students and staff to adopt sustainable practices for a cleaner and healthier environment.
The event was conducted by the activity committee and pharmacy department under the guidance of Principal Dr. Jyoti Rao. Faculty members, students, and hospital staff actively participated in the event and contributed to its success.
