As part of the Doctors' Day Celebration Seminar committee & Co curricular Comittee of C. N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College & Research Centre, Vyara, in association with the Homoeopathic Medical Association of India (HMAI), Vyara Unit, organized a seminar on 1st July 2026 at Rama Harshad Hall. The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp (Deep Pragtya).The distinguished resource person, Dr. Zameer F. Refai, MD (Hom) PhD was welcomed with Boquette on behalf of the college by Principal Dr. Jyoti R. Rao and Academic Head Dr. Bhavin Modi. He was further felicitated with a bouquet on behalf of the HMAI Vyara Unit Joint Secretary Dr. Bhavna Patel. The Seminar Committee, represented by Dr. Vaishali Chaudhari and Dr. Swapnil Khengar, presented boquette as a token of respect. Principal Dr. Jyoti R. Rao formally welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource person. Dr. Zameer F. Refai then delivered an insightful lecture on "The Doctor's Mind: What Psychiatry Teaches Us About the Physician Who Heals." Through real-life clinical examples and case discussions, he highlighted that doctors themselves often suffer from stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, and emotional fatigue, emphasizing that physicians must also prioritize their own physical and mental well-being. He encouraged faculty and students to practice self-care, maintain emotional resilience, and seek timely support, as a healthy doctor is better equipped to provide compassionate and effective patient care.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Principal Dr. Jyoti R. Rao presented a memento and a Certificate of Appreciation to the speaker on behalf of the college. On behalf of the HMAI Vyara Unit, Secretary Dr. Tushar Dhimmar presented another memento to the speaker. The Co-curricular Committee, represented by Dr. Dhruni Birari, also have token of gratitude. The program concluded with the Hahnemannian oath and the Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Vaishali Chaudhari, followed by the collection of seminar feedback coordinated by Dr. S. V. Dholiya. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
