Janjatiya Gaurav Divas (Tribal Pride Day) Celebration 2025
On the occasion of Lord Birsa Munda Jayanti, a special speech session was organized to honor the life, legacy, and contributions of the great tribal freedom fighter Lord Birsa Munda. The speech was delivered by Ms. Vasava Payal, a 2nd BHMS student, under the able guidance of Dr. Dhruni Birari, ST Committee Coordinator.
The speaker highlighted the inspiring journey of Birsa Munda—from his early life and cultural upbringing to his remarkable role in leading the tribal community against British oppression. The speech emphasized his contribution to the Munda Rebellion (Ulgulan), his efforts to protect tribal identity, and his lasting impact on India’s freedom struggle.
The session served as an educational and motivational experience for the students, reminding them of the values of courage, leadership, and social justice championed by Birsa Munda.
The program was successfully conducted with active participation from students and faculty members.
