Date of Competition:
3rd December 2025
The Department of Homoeopathic Repertory & Case Taking successfully organized a Rubric Hunting Competition on 3rd December 2025 for the students of Second BHMS (2025–26 batch). The main objective of this academic event was to enhance students’ skills in quick rubric identification, improve analytical thinking, and strengthen their practical knowledge of repertory usage in clinical practice.
A total of six teams participated, with four members in each team. The participants showed great enthusiasm, confidence, and academic spirit throughout the competition. The entire event was conducted in a friendly yet intellectually stimulating environment.
The competition was divided into three engaging rounds:
1. Rapid Fire Round—This round tested the participants’ speed and accuracy in identifying appropriate rubrics from given symptoms within a limited time.
2. Chit Round—In this round, symptoms were presented through chits, and the teams had to find the most suitable rubrics from the repertory.
3. Buzzer Round—This was the most exciting round, where teams competed to answer first using the buzzer, testing both knowledge and quick decision-making.
All teams performed commendably and displayed excellent teamwork. At the end of the competition, the winning team was awarded certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance.
The entire event was efficiently planned and organized by Dr. Anjali Sindhi, Assistant Professor, Department of Homoeopathic Repertory, whose dedication and guidance ensured the smooth conduct and success of the competition.
The competition proved to be a valuable learning experience and encouraged students to develop deeper interest and confidence in the subject of homeopathic repertory.
