The Community Medicine department of C. N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College and Research Center, Vyara arranged an institutional visit to the Primary Health Center (PHC) at Chapawadi for 4th-year BHMS students on April 9, 2026.
The objective of this visit was to provide students with practical exposure to the functioning of primary healthcare delivery systems in rural India and to understand the role of various health personnel in public health management.
Objectives of the Visit
* To learn about how a PHC is set up and how it works.
* To study the implementation of various National Health Programs at the grassroots level.
* To observe the maintenance of health records and the Health Management Information System (HMIS).
* To learn about the cold chain system and immunization protocols.
* To understand the integration of AYUSH services within the primary health framework.
This entire program was conducted successfully by the community Medicine department.
