Cyber Crime Awareness Session 2026 Report

A Cyber Crime Awareness Session was organized on 11 July 2026 at C. N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College and Research Centre, Vyara, in coordination with the Kakrapar Police Station Cyber Crime Cell, for students and faculty members.

The programme was gracefully anchored by Ms. Jeel Trivedi (4th BHMS student), who welcomed the gathering and introduced the purpose of the awareness session.

The programme commenced with Deep Prajwalan by PI Shri V. K. Patel, Dr. Bhavin Modi (Academic Head), and Dr. Dhruni Birari (Activity Head), followed by the welcome address by Dr. Bhavin Modi. The guests were felicitated with bouquets.

The awareness session was conducted by PI Shri V. K. Patel, Kakrapar Police Station, and PSI Shri Bhathvare, Cyber Crime Branch, Vyara Police Station. Members of the She Team were also present during the programme. The speakers created awareness about cyber crimes, online frauds, cyber safety, digital payment security, social media safety, and the importance of reporting cyber crimes promptly. They also guided the participants on preventive measures for the safe and responsible use of digital platforms.

At the end of the awareness session, all students, faculty members, and guests collectively took the Cyber Awareness Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to practicing safe online behaviour, protecting personal information, reporting cyber crimes, and promoting responsible use of digital technology.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Jeel Trivedi, followed by the National Anthem.

The entire programme was conducted by Dr. Dhruni Birari, Activity Head, along with the Activity Committee, under the guidance of Dr. Jyoti Rao, Principal.
