The Ganesh Festival was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm in C. N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College and Research Center, Vyara from 26/08/25 to 31/08/25. On 26/08/25 we welcomed Ganesh idol with Dhol and Tasha. The celebration began with the installation of a beautifully decorated idol of Lord Ganesha in the premises.
The inauguration was marked by a traditional Ganesh Shthapana ritual, accompanied by Vedic chants and prayers. Students, staff, and community members participated wholeheartedly. Each day of the celebration included various cultural activities such as Art and Craft, Aarti thali decoration, rangoli making and Menhndi program.
Special emphasis was given to promoting environmental consciousness by installing an eco-friendly idol and avoiding plastic decoration. This initiative spread awareness about sustainable practices among students and the community.
The highlight of the festival was the daily morning and evening aarti, performed with deep devotion, followed by prasad distribution. On 30/08/25 The grand maha-Aarti was arranged with 101 diya and rangoli. On the concluding day, a grand procession was carried out within the campus/locality with music, dance, and chanting of “Ganpati Bappa Morya,” maintaining a spirit of unity and festivity. The celebration ended with the Visarjan ceremony, where prayers were offered for peace, prosperity, and the removal of obstacles from everyone’s lives.
The Ganesh Festival not only brought spiritual joy but also strengthened unity, cultural values, and environmental awareness among all participants.
