 Activity Report: TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan – 100 Days Campaign

In alignment with the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) and the Prime Minister’s vision of a "TB Mukt Bharat" (Tuberculosis-Free India), C. N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College and Research Center actively participated in the 100 Days Campaign. The initiative aimed to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and mobilize future healthcare professionals in the fight against Tuberculosis.
Objectives:
* To sensitize students, faculty, and staff about the symptoms and treatment of TB.
* To foster a sense of social responsibility through public health commitment.
* To disseminate accurate information regarding the government's support systems for TB patients.
Key Activities:
A. Ni-kshay Shapath (Pledge Taking Ceremony)
The campaign commenced with the Ni-kshay Shapath, a solemn pledge taken by the Principal, faculty members, and students. By taking this oath, the participants committed to:
* Supporting TB patients in their journey toward recovery.
* Spreading awareness to ensure early diagnosis.
* Working towards the eradication of the social stigma associated with the disease.
B. Display of IEC Material
To ensure continuous education, Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials were strategically displayed throughout the college campus.
* Posters and Banners: Visual aids highlighting common TB symptoms (persistent cough, weight loss, and night sweats).
* Informational Charts: Detailed guides on the Ni-kshay Poshan Yojana and the availability of free diagnostic
The participation of C. N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College serves as a vital bridge between institutional healthcare and community wellness. The 100-day campaign successfully reinforced the message that "TB Harega, Desh Jeetega."
