Visit Report - Sewage Treatment Plant, Vyara.
On 8th April 2026, as part of the Community Medicine curriculum, 4th Year BHMS students at C. N. Kothari Homoeopathic Medical College & Research Center, Vyara, conducted an educational field visit to the local Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Vyara.
The main goal was to give students real-world experience in how to keep the environment clean, understand public health systems, and learn how wastewater is managed, which are all important for stopping water-related illnesses and improving community cleanliness.
During the visit, the technical staff at the STP guided students through the multi-stage treatment process.

The removal of large debris, rags, and grit using screens and grit chambers.

C. Secondary Treatment
Biological Process
D. Tertiary Treatment
Disinfection
The Community Medicine Department successfully conducted the entire program.
